Conventional mill operator — Glenn County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Glenn County, California. On a typical shift you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
