Now hiring: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Ellis County, Kansas. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Day-to-day duties: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site What we are looking for: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience.
