Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Crawford County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Six days a week, one day off.
