Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Sumter County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
