Power float operator — Lee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Lee County, Iowa. The job is on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
