VMC operator — Queen Anne's County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. Day to day you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
