Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge.
