Machine operator (earthworks) — Keweenaw County

Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Keweenaw County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Six days a week, one day off.
