Precision welder — Adavi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Adavi, Kogi State. Your main tasks: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
