Bricklayer — Sanilac County

Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Sanilac County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Six days a week, one day off.
