Lathe programmer-operator — Vance County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Vance County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 1+ years on the tools preferred.
