Argon welder — Berkeley County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Berkeley County, West Virginia. The role involves keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
