Sheet metal press operator • Rockwall County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Rockwall County, Texas. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
