Excavator operator — Jones County

Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Jones County, Iowa. You will be based in an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster You will check for underground cables and services before digging; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
