Sheet metal welder — Clayton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Clayton County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Six days a week, one day off.
