The role involves: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Full-time with occasional weekends.
