Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Powell County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Powell County, Kentucky. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Able to grind and set HSS cutters The role involves: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
