Banksman — Elk County

Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Elk County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
