Steward — Marquette County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steward in Marquette County, Michigan. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Requirements: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred Day-to-day duties: • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
