Site carpenter — Howard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Howard County, Missouri. The job is at a shopfitting company. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Your main tasks: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
