GMAW welder — Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Montgomery County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy production line. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
