Great opportunity: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Augusta County, Virginia. You will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; refuel the machine and record running hours. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
