Industrial sewing operator — Cape May County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Cape May County, New Jersey. You will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
