Pastry baker — Franklin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pastry baker in Franklin County, Florida. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. On a typical shift you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Rotating shifts. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience.
