Foundry worker — Jefferson County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Jefferson County, New York. You will be based on the moulding line. The role involves: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
