Fitter on the line — Knox County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Knox County, Missouri. The job is at a busy assembly plant. The role involves clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard; carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts; report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards; snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses; follow the work instruction sheet for each station. You should have: • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work • Can read work instructions and basic measurements Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
