Plant operator — Fika

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator in Fika, Yobe State. The job is at a stone quarry. You will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
