Bar bender and fixer wanted in Codington County

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Codington County, South Dakota. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
