Tile installer • DeSoto County, Florida

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile installer in DeSoto County, Florida. You will be based at a busy tiling site. The role involves: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits What we are looking for: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
