Crane operator — Umu-Nneochi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Umu-Nneochi, Abia State. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery On the job you will handle: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels Six days a week, one day off.
