Immediate opening: blocklayer (Adamawa State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Yola North, Adamawa State. You will work on a new-build development. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around ₦290,000 per project, based on your experience.
