Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Hardin County, Kentucky. The job is on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Your main tasks: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
