Immediate opening: concrete worker (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in City of Petersburg, Virginia. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers The role involves mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
