Ladle pourer — Osage County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Osage County, Missouri. You will work at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
