Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Kaufman County, Texas. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Full-time, day shift.
