Hydraulic press operator — Durham County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Durham County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy press shop. Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses The role involves check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
