Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Bland County, Virginia. You will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
