Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance The role involves carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook.
