Hand presser — Wilson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Wilson County, Kansas. You will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Part-time with flexible hours.
