Single needle operator • Idemili South, Anambra State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in Idemili South, Anambra State. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On a typical shift you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
