Canteen cook — Boone County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Boone County, Arkansas. The role involves marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; prepare the mise en place before each service; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. You should have: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Part-time with flexible hours.
