Single needle operator wanted in Effingham County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a single needle operator in Effingham County, Illinois. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
