We are recruiting: we are hiring a power float operator in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On a typical shift you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength.
