Electrical technician — Jefferson County

What we are looking for: • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use The role involves: • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Install LED fittings, ceiling fans and exhaust fans Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
