Immediate opening: bike messenger (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a bike messenger in Greene County, Iowa. You will work at a restaurant running its own delivery. Your main tasks: • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Handle fragile and perishable items with care while riding • Check tyre pressure, brakes, chain tension and engine oil before riding out • Refuel the bike and log fuel expenses against each run • Plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation Ideal candidate: • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app • Good knowledge of local roads, lanes and shortcuts • Physically fit to ride long hours and lift parcels up to 20 kg Six days a week, one day off.
