CNC programmer-operator — Nassau County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Nassau County, New York. You will work in a toolroom. The role involves: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
