Press shop operator — Grainger County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Grainger County, Tennessee. You will be based at a busy press shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
