Argon welder — Coryell County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Coryell County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift.
