Urgent requirement: visual inspection operator (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Stephenson County, Illinois. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor On a typical shift you will check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
