Abattoir worker — Menard County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Menard County, Illinois. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
